About Sherlene MCintosh
Sherlene McIntosh is the daughter of the late Andy and Edna Jones, who she describes as having the best parents in the world.
Mcintosh attended Rutgers University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science and sociology and has done graduate studies at The George Washington University.
After a stellar career at the United States Department of Education, Washington, DC, she retired in 2014, where she held various managerial positions and had the opportunity to serve as a public servant for over 33 years.
McIntosh serves on the ministerial team AS the Executive Assistant to Bishop Lynda Brown-Hall, Pastor of Nevertheless Outreach Ministry Church. She was licensed to preach the gospel and to exercise her gift in the works of the ministry on JUNE 04, 2022. mcintosh was ordained in the ministry on August 05, 2023. Additionally, McIntosh serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator, playing a key role in distributing Narcan Kits and the fentanyl stripes and vital information. Mcintosh is passionate about educating the community on the dangers of drug use and ensuring that people receive this crucial information. Mental health is very important to McIntosh, and she is committed to working in the field and sharing that information with the community.
She loves participating in Toastmasters International, where she is a member of several clubs and have achieved the highest distinction of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). In this role McIntosh served in many leadership positions. In addition she serveD as the Director of an educational and tutorial program that has supported many students through elementary, middle, high school and college.
She is the President and CEO of McIntosh Voices, an organization that mentors and coaches family members and individuals in the DMV area. McIntosh loves to read and listen to all forms of music, especially jazz. She has a great passion for helping people aspiring to find their way; those who are unhoused and individuals dealing with various addictions.
Additionally McIntosh has two adult sons Jason and Matthew whom she considers simply awesome and amazing.
Her love for God is profound, and her favorite scripture is, Proverbs 3: 5-6.
